        NEGLECTED KNIFE SHARPENER

            Neglected Knife-Sharpener  1

            I used to put steel
            on its mettle.
            Unhanded now, I feel
            the dulled paint peel,
            the deadly rust settle.

          Neglected Knife-Sharpener  2

            Once I honed steel
            to a cutting edge;
            now rust and neglect
            eat me thin.
